Neighborhood Computer Repair Shops

The business, which began as A-1 Best Computer in 2002, operated two locations in Seattle (Lake City Way and Ballard). Eric and Rosaleen, a local husband and wife team, purchased it in 2009. The pair got into the computer repair business after having experienced a lot of frustrating computer problems themselves. They thought it would be great if people could have access to a friendly, neighborhood computer repair shop that wouldn’t charge an arm and a leg and would give honest and straightforward advice.

After operating the business for a couple of years, they realized a new name was needed to convey not only what their Technicians did but, what is possible. Thus the name: computer-fix. Having heard countless stories from folks who thought that their computers would never work again, the new name is straight to the point: your computer can be fixed!

2011 saw the addition of two shops (Mercer Island and Edmonds) bringing the total number of computer-fix locations to four.

Eric and Rosaleen want to make it easy for you to get your computer fixed. They also want customers to get knowledgeable and honest answers without confusing techno-babble.

Drawing on a pool of very talented Technicians, computer-fix provides extensive repair services for laptops and desktops, both Windows and Mac. In other words: “computer-fix can fix what others can’t.”
